Adult Ministries

Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday School provides opportunities for groups of adults to connect with the Lord through the study and application of His Word and to connect with each other in caring fellowship. Classes meet on Sunday during the first and second hour (9:00 am and 10:45 am). Study topics vary throughout the year and are structured around the areas of Knowledge, Wisdom, and Skill. For a complete description of our current classes check out the weekly Bulletin.

Small Groups

Small Groups at FBC gather together on a regular basis for fellowship in Bible study, prayer and mutual encouragement. The goals of the groups are:

  • To edify and equip believers for works of service. (Ephesians 4:12)
  • To promote Christian maturity. (Ephesians 4:13)
  • To encourage and equip believers for a lifestyle of active evangelism through word and action. (2 Corinthians 5:20)

Most of our Small Groups range in size from 8 to 16 people and gather together two or three times each month for fellowship in Bible study, prayer and mutual encouragement. Many people who are new to FBC find that becoming part of a Small Group is very helpful in forming deep friendships in their new church family.

We meet for corporate prayer each week focusing especially on our missionaries and the spread of the Gospel, as well as the needs of this local body. Contact the church office for more information.

Senior Fellowship

Throughout the year our senior citizens enjoy fellowship time on the 1st Tuesday of each month (excluding June). From 10 AM until Noon we play table games and cornhole in the Multi-Purpose Room. We also have a time of singing, a short devotion and prayer followed by a hot lunch provided by our Deacons.

Several times a year the Deacons also provide lunch for seniors following the Sunday services.

Occasionally outings are also scheduled for musicals and other events.
