Boys Brigade is a ministry of Faith Bible Church that provides boys in grades K-6 and their dads (or other associated parent/guardian) an opportunity to have fun, study the Bible, and complete projects together on Wednesday nights during the school year.
Please read the following FAQs and register using the link below!
Boys Brigade is open to boys entering grades K-6 for the 2024-2025 school year. You do not have to be Family or attend Faith Bible Church to register for Boys Brigade. We meet on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:45 - 8:00 in the gym at Faith Bible Church. Registrants will be provided with a specific calendar of dates and events. There is no registration fee for Boys Brigade. We strive to do all we can to provide this program without cost to participants. Each week our meetings feature a Bible-based lesson and a fun activity that we encourage dads to complete with their boy. This year we will have planned activities like woodworking, fire starting, mini golf, paper airplane making, gym games, and more. In addition to our weekly events, we have an annual Harvest Party in October (featuring an inflatable obstacle course, games, crafts, snacks, a hay ride , and more), the FBC Derby in the Spring (like the Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts), and Operation Boom! (father/son sleepover at the church with pizza, a Nerf War, games, and fun). Boys Brigade is designed for a child to experience alongside a male parent, grandparent, or guardian. We also understand that this is not always possible. We would be happy to work to accommodate your specific family situation. Overnight events (Operation Boom! and Camping) require a male parent or guardian. Dads are encouraged to stay but not required. Most of our weekly activities are designed to be completed by parent and child together, but we also have staff that will make sure your boy is not left on his own. We strongly recommend that dads stay with boys in grades K-1 as they typically require more 1:1 supervision in activities. Yes! Pioneer Girls conveniently meets at the same time and location on Wednesday nights. You can find more information about that program here.
